Now that the kids are out of school, the President is taking everyone on a Family Vacation at Camp David. This comes after a week of meeting a Chancellor, President, and Dictator.Yes, in line with the the President's Arab Spring support, Mr. Obama met with
President Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon. This a leader accused of rampant corruption and human rights violations. In that country, 1/3 of the people live on $2 per day and have to dig through garbage looking for food scraps. However, our the White House Spokesman said that the President believes Gabon is playing an important role in the Middle Eastern region.
While on vacation, the President will have a chance so savor the support of the National Education Association which is the largest education union. They have stated that they are willing to spend up to $60 million to help the President get re-elected rather than to help teachers keep their jobs during these tough economic times.
