One week before the election, Obama is using this disaster as a photo opportunity to show his involvement. Unfortunately, he had no such meetings, participation, or press conferences when the 4 brave Americans were killed in Benghazi.
Prior to taking advantage of this disaster, Mr. Obama was flying across the country, giving a speech here, voting there, taping interviews, etc. He did attend two daily briefings but that was it. Comparatively, he attended 7 campaign events, and taped 4 interviews for TV and Radio appearances.
Interestingly, the President flew to Orlando Florida on Sunday night and returned on Monday morning. But, nothing is documented as to why he was there.
Also during this time, Vice President Biden attended 5 campaign events. The First Lady, Michelle Obama, attended at least 5 campaign events. Although she wasn't listed on the White House or Political schedule, we can follow her schedule by reading her speeches posted on the White House website.
Yes, 17 fundraisers but only 2 daily briefings. (Thank god there was a hurricane!)
