To divert attention, the President very openly took to the skies on Air Force One and devoted his week to attending 8 separate campaign events. On the way back, he stopped in Everett Washington and toured a Boeing Production Facility. Do you think he was placing an order for a new Air Force One? Or perhaps arraigning to have one delivered to China?The activities of Michelle Obama were directed at greeting guests at the White House. However, we know know that she spent the holiday weekend in Aspen Colorado skiing with the girls, and is the featured guest at a luncheon fundraiser today.
However, both Mr. and Mrs. Obama coordinated their travels in order to host a Black History Month music celebration tonight. Here is a summary of their weekly activities.
Today, Tuesday - February 21, 2012
- President and Michelle host a celebration of blues music for Black History Month. Attending will be music legends and contemporary major artists.
- Michelle is featured guest at The Obama Victory Fund fundraising luncheon at the Mayflower Hotel.
Monday - February 20, 2012- Michelle and daughters return from Aspen
- Michelle and daughters skiing in Aspen.
- Michelle and daughters on an Aspen ski vacation.
- Obama speaks at campaign event at Nob Hill Masonic Center, San Francisco. Then he flies to Everett Washington, tours & speaks at the Boeing Everett Production Facility. Next he attends two campaign events (one at Westin Bellevue Hotel). Lastly, he flies back to DC
- Michelle and daughters depart DC and flew to Aspen Colorado for a ski vacation.
- Biden entertains Vice President Xi in California
- Obama delivers remarks at campaign event in Corona Del Mar, CA. After, he flew to San Francisco, and attended two campaign events
- Biden attends two campaign events in Albuquerque New Mexico
- Pres leaves DC and flew to Milwaukee Wisconsin. Toured and spoke at Master Lock. Then flew to Los Angeles CA and appeared at 2 campaign events
