- President Obama left Seattle Washington at 11:50 AM and flew to San Francisco CA. There, he delivered remarks about immigration at 2:35 PM, and spent the rest of the day attending fundraisers. First was a 4:10 PM DNC event which was followed by an 5:00 PM DNC event. Mr. Obama left San Francisco and flew to Los Angeles CA, where he attended a 10:30 PM DCCC/DSCC fundraising event; and another DCCC/DSCC joint event at 11:20 PM.

- Michelle Obama hosted the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities (PCAH) National Arts and Humanities Youth Program.

- President Obama received a daily briefing at 9:45 AM. This was followed by a 12:30 lunch with VP Biden. In the afternoon, he delivered a brief statement (1:55 PM), and another at 2 PM at a ConnectED Champions of Change event. Lastly, he held a bill signing photo op at 2:20 PM.

- President Obama began the day with a 10:15 AM daily briefing. He then honored recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom at 11:05 AM. Then, he participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery at 1 PM commemorating the death of John F Kennedy. Lastly, he met with representatives from teh National Association of Insurance Commissioners. In the evening (7:10 PM), he and Michelle hosted a black-tie dinner for the Medal of Freedom awardees at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
