By contrast, his wife, Michelle, attended 3 campaign events in 3 different states. Although they are not listed on the White House Schedule, the White House Speeches and Remarks page contains the text of her speeches.
And, even though everyone thinks that Joe Biden is out of the picture, the Vice President and his wife were the star speakers at 5 more campaign events.
Luckily for the Obama campaign, a hurricane is raging in the Gulf. As this storm of nature presents drama, the Obama campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki used it to divert attention from Obama's lack of work to the importance of "campagning". As she stated:
The president is also out there laying out the stakes for what is a very important election for a generation, there’s almost no group with higher stakes for what happens in November. That’s also important.” (Team Obama on campaigning during Isaac: The Republicans are doing it, too)
So now it's official, there is no higher stakes than winning reelection for the Obama for America campaign.
To heck with the country! We're bashing Romney and blaming Bush and the rest of the Republicans. These are the real contributions of the Obama Administration.
