44 Hours of flying, Iftar Dinner, SF Giants, Lunch with Hillary, and a round of Golf

President Obama booked 13 hours on Air Force One this past week while VP Biden and family totaled 31 hours in the air. Between the two, they visited 3 countries and 7 different cities.

When not in the air, Mr. Obama hosted an Iftar Dinner, lunch with Hillary Clinton, and welcomed the San Francisco Giants to the White House. He also golfed his 22nd round this weekend.

Do you think they discussed what Anthony Weiner may know about Benghazi?

In between, the President received 2 daily briefings, met once with his senior advisers, and once with Secretary of Defense Hagel. He also spent one full day at Camp David with members of his cabinet and their families (and perhaps other invitees from the Iftar Dinner).

President Obama received a daily briefing at 10 AM. He then leave the White House at 10:45 AM and flies to Chattanooga TN where he will tour the Amazon Fulfillment Center and deliver remarks. He is back on Air Force One at 3:05 PM and returns to Washington DC where he will meet with Secretary of Defense Hagel. Additionally, Politico says he is meeting with the lead Israeli and Palestinian negotiators sometime during the day.
VP Biden treated Hillary Clinton to breakfast at the Naval Observatory.

President Obama received a daily briefing at 10:15 AM. After, he met with his senior advisers at 11 AM. Next, he hosts a lunch with Hillary Clinton at 12 noon. Then at 2:05 PM, it was sports time. Mr. Obama welcomed the 2012 World Series Champions San Franciso Giants to the White House. Shortly thereafter (2:455 PM), he met with civil rights leaders.

President Obama left the White House at 9:30 AM and spent the day at Camp David with cabinet members and their families. He returned back to the White House about 7 PM.

President Obama held a bilateral meeting with President Truong Tan Sang of Vietnam at 10:15 AM. He then left the White House and flew to Jacksonville Florida where he toured the Jacksonville Port Authority and delivered remarks. He arrived back in the White House at at 5:35 PM. Then, at 8:45 PM, he hosted an Iftar dinner to select guests and honored several Muslims. He also attended a meeting with leaders who work with the disability community.
VP Biden met with women at the India Institute of Technology in Mumbai. Afterward, he and Jill flew to Singapore.

President Obama left the White House at 10 AM and flew to Galesburg Illinois where he spoke at Knox College. He then flew to Warrensburg Missouri and delivered remarks at the University of Central Missouri. After 6 PM, he boarded Air Force One again and returned to the White House.
VP Biden delivered remarks regarding the U.S./India partnership at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Beyonce, La Raza, Louisville Cardinals, and Golf for the Obama's; India and Singapore for the Biden's

July 2013 is travel, spending, and entertaining month for the Obama's and Biden's even though the taxpaying citizens of the United States are still barred from visiting the White House.

During this past week, we treated Mrs. Obama and her two girls to a Beyonce Concert in Chicago, and then flew the First Lady to New Orleans LA to attend a La Raza event.

Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Biden departed the Washington DC area and flew to India to begin a 6 day tour of India and Singapore.

President Obama, however, remained back in Washington. But, he treated himself by entertaining the Louisville Cardinals basketball team, attending 2 Organizing for Action events, and playing a round of golf.

As for work, Mr. Obama's agenda indicated that he received a daily briefing each weekday morning, met once with his senior advisers, and once with John Kerry. He also made a few statements, and had lunch with VP Biden. Additionally, he hosted a reception at the White House for the Diplomatic Corps.

VP Biden attended an event hosted for the Center for American Progress, and delivered remarks about U.S. policy towards the Asia Pacific region.

President Obama is not a dull boy

They say: "All work and no play, make Jack a dull boy".

So, not wanting to be a dull boy, President Obama spent very little time working this past week. During this time, he received daily briefings each weekday. He also met with: his senior advisers once; Senators McCain and Schumer; two Chinese dignitaries; and Secretary of State Kerry.

He also entertained former President George H. W. Bush, and members of the 1963 Loyola University of Chicago Ramblers championship basketball team.

Last Friday, his day was done after the morning daily briefing, and today he spent interviewing with Spanish news anchors.

However, Mr. Obama did find time to attend a DNC event at the Jefferson Hotel last Thursday evening. Tickets for those attending cost $32,400 each.

A Fourth of July BBQ & Concert, Golfing, and a Ramadan Statement keep Obama Happy

After returning from a luxurious week in Africa, President Obama and family arrived back at the White House in time for their 4th of July bash. The day was filled with barbeque fun, television stars, and featured a concert by the band Fun. In the evening, the President delivered a magnificent fireworks show to both the invited guests, and the residents of Washington DC.

On Friday, he took his family to Camp David for the weekend. While the family's schedule was private, Mr. Obama enjoyed a few rounds of golf with his close friends.

Unfortunately, a portion of his time was interrupted by conduction official business due to the administration's surveillance of foreign governments and the Egyptian overthrow of President Morsi.

Now that he is finished vacationing, Mr. Obama began working again. During the first 2 days of the week, he received two daily briefings, held a Cabinet Meeting, and meetings with Secretaries Lew and Hagel, and the Congressional Black Caucus. The President also delivered a few statements to the public, the most important of which as about the month long "Occasion of Ramadan".

US Taxpayers treat "hardly working" Obama & family to $60 Million African tour

Less than 2 weeks after taking his family, including his mother-in-law and half-sister, to Ireland and Germany, President Obama embarked on a week long African tour. The group visited Senegal, South Africa, and Tanzania.

Officially, the reason for the trip was "to reinforce U.S. commitment to expanding economic growth, meaning we taxpayers will be sending more money to those counties".

Estimates for this vacation range from $60 to $100 million. But, since the family has removed public visitors from the White House, stopped Armed Forces participation in Air Shows, eliminated fireworks from various Army, Marine, Navy, and Air Force bases, and furloughed various workers, cost is not a factor.

Joining Mr. Obama on the trip was his wife, children, mother-in-law, and niece.

During this time, Mr. Obama did not participate in any daily briefings or work with senior advisers. However, he did find time to call certain Congressional leaders for the purpose to persuade them to open America's doors to illegal immigrants.
