Obama Vacations and Golfs while checking Hawaiian Cliffs

The week leading up to and including Christmas was rather quiet for President Obama. During that time, he received 2 daily briefings, attended 2 services for Daniel Inouye, hosted a Holiday Reception, visited Walter Reed Medical Center, observed a moment of silence, and pushed his agenda for both raising taxes and the debt ceiling. Even with the uncertainty of the fiscal cliff, Mr. Obama was not willing to negotiate a budget agreement that would confine spending or limit raising taxes.

So, last Friday, he departed Washington DC with his family and flew to Hawaii for the Christmas Holiday. During the first 2 days there, he golfed about 11 1/2 hours, which was much more than the few hours he worked performing his Presidential duties (How Obama Vacationed).

Sitting back as the economy heads towards the fiscal cliff

For the first time in quite a while, President Obama started each weekday morning with a daily presidential briefing. The first 2 days were held at 9:45 AM, and the latter 3 days were at 10:15 AM or later. During this time, he met with Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Susan Rice.  His schedule did not include any meetings with senior advisers or with his cabinet members.

The President also found time to be interviewed with local television stations trying to push his tax and spending increases to the public. The only public entertaining performed was his annual Hanukkah Reception.

Unfortunately, last Friday was marred by the deadly massacre at an elementary school in Connecticut. This forced the President's quiet schedule to shift because he needed to make time to speak to the nation and attend a service in Newtown. Notably absent from the Vigil was his wife Michelle.

Below is a summary of President Obama's weekly schedule for the period Wednesday December 12 through Tuesday December 18 2012.

Entertaining Foreign Dissidents and Soliciting Inaugural Donations

Even though the election is over, President Obama spent the week campaigning. His public focus was to push the House and Senate into raising taxes on the upper 2% of the remaining wage earners. For this purpose, he met with a family, a few business leaders, and flew to Michigan. But, his private agenda was to raise private and corporate donations to fund his $47 million Inaugural Ceremonies. (Inauguration 2013)

So what does he want to do with the new income tax revenue that would be raised? Looking at the remainder of his week's activities helps to give us the answer. First and foremost, the money will pay for his entertainment and for the travel expenses incurred with his inaugural fundraising expenses.

For example, the President attended a "Christmas in Washington" concert on Sunday. One of his special guests was the South Korean rap star who has called for the death of our American soldiers and their families. Yes, we pay taxes so that Obama can spend the money socializing with the likes of Psy.

Obama has ordered his staff to push for raising taxes. Their campaign is to advertise: "What $2,000 means to different people".

But "What does $250,000 mean to President Obama"?
  • The income threshold of married taxpayers who will have their taxes raised.
  • The "Washington" Inaugural Top-Tier Donor package (tickets to the inauguration, 2 tickets to a benefactors reception, invitation to a finance committe meeting, 2 tickets to a children's concert, 2 tickets to the co-chairs reception, 4 tickets to the candle light celebration, 2 reserved bleacher seats for the Inaugural Parade, and 4 tickets to the inaugural ball". (source: Inauguration 2013: Team Obama unveils high-end donor packages)
The President needs to raise $47 million to cover the costs of his lavish inaugural affair. And who will give the money? Well, the Unions for one. That is why Mr. Obama flew to Michigan.

Below is a summary of President Obama's official schedule during the week of Wednesday December 5 through Tuesday December 11 2012.

Note that during this time, he received 4 daily briefings and met with senior advisers once. His days began between 9 and 10 AM, and on 2 of the days he was done after lunch.

Obama flew brother-in-law and entire OSU team to Washington for Thanksgiving entertainment at taxpayer expense

Having returned from his Asian tour, President Obama spent the remainder of the Thanksgiving week entertaining his family and the Oregon State Basketball team.

As Michelle Obama's mother lives at the White House, the First Family thought it would be delightful if the whole family could spend Thanksgiving together. So, the President arraigned to fly his brother-in-law, Craig Robinson and his family to Washington. But, since Craig is the coach of the OSU basketball team, the Obama's invited the entire team to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with them.

Expense was no object for the Obama's since they can simply raise taxes to pay for their personal entertainment. Thus, they flew the whole OSU team, and Craig and family, to DC for a few days. They provided them with free housing as well. The team arrived on Wednesday and joined the Obama's at a Food Bank. Then, they all feasted at the White House on Thursday.

The OSU team had no games scheduled last week. Their previous game was against Purdue in New York City on November 16th. Their next game was on Sunday the 25th against Montana State in Corvallis Oregon. This means that the team had no official reason to be in Washington DC, except to be guests of the Obama's and the U.S. taxpayers.

Looking at the team picture in the White House, it appears we entertained at least 22 team members and coaches in addition to the Robinson family. Assuming first class airfare and hotel accommodations, the taxpayers probably spent around $50,000 for the President's and Mrs. Obama's entertainment.

However, since the "fiscal cliff" is facing us, Mr. Obama went back to work on Saturday. He made 2 telephone calls that day, one to Mr. Boehner and one to Mr. Reid.

This week, Mr. Obama had 2 daily briefings, met with his senior advisers and Mr. Panetta once. He is also meeting President-elect Enrique Peña Nieto of Mexico today.

Below is a summary of Mr. Obama's official schedule during the week of Wednesday November 20 through Tuesday November 27, 2012.

Today, Tuesday, November 27, 2012
  • President Obama is spending the entire day with VP Biden. They begin the day with a 10:30 AM daily briefing and then have lunch 2 hours later. At 3:40PM, they will meet with President-elect Enrique Peña Nieto of Mexico. They wrap up the day with a 4:30 PM meeting with Mr. Panetta.

  • Michelle Obama and her daughters received the official White House Christmas Tree.
Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 22, 2012

Mr. Obama tours Asia as Michelle is entertained by Aretha

During the past week, President Obama has had only one daily briefing. That was last Wednesday. Since then, he spent one day meeting with business leaders, civic leaders, and congressmen promising all to raise taxes. Plus, he flew to New York City and toured the damage inflicted by Hurricane Sandy. However, the highlight of the week was his conducting a 4 day trip to Asia and visiting Thailand, Burma, and Cambodia.

He was joined on this trip with Hillary Clinton, but surprisingly, his wife Michelle stayed back in the U.S. After reading that Mrs. Obama attended an Aretha Franklin concert on Saturday with Eric Holder, we assume that Mrs. Clinton switched places with Mrs. Obama because the President wants the Secretary of State out of the country so that she cannot be questioned on Benghazi.

Unfortunately, the President's trip was marred by the interruption of the conflict between Israel and Palestinian Hamas. But, Mr. Obama found time to continue his bowing to leaders of other nations, promising to give them much of our US Tax dollars, and mispronouncing their names.

It's Time to Raise Taxes on the Rich Obama says

The election is now over and President Obama won a second term in office. Since learning the results last Tuesday evening, Mr. Obama returned to Washington and is hard at work.

During this week, Mr. Obama attended three 1/2 hour daily briefings and met with Hillary Clinton once.  He accepted the resignation of CIA Director Petraeus, attended a Veterans Day Ceremony at Arlington Cemetery and delivered 3 speeches.

His current focus is to push Congress into raising taxes on those who he feels are wealthy.  These are the working single taxpayers who earn more than $200,000 per year, and families who earn over $250,000 per year.

For this purpose, he is meeting with special interest lobbyists, union leaders, and progressive groups such as MoveOn, SEIU, and the AFL-CIO. These are some of the major groups who contributed heavily to the 2012 Obama for America Presidential campaign. The meetings will not be public.

Crowds signify Romney Victory as Obama Pleads for Revenge

President Obama ended the campaign season with a whirlwind blitz of campaign appearances. He visited Wisconsin, Florida, Nevada, Colorado, Ohio, Virginia, New Hampshire, and Iowa. In all, he alone attended 16 campaign events.

In the same week Michelle Obama spoke at 6 events, traveling to Florida, Virginia, and Ohio. Vice President Biden chipped in as well by attending 5 events as well.

Obama Campaign Event Crowd
In all, the trio chalked up 27 documented campaign events which spanned 5 days.

The President also found time to receive 1 daily briefing, tour the ravaged New Jersey coast, and speak at FEMA Headquarters.

Now that today's voting will determine who the next president will be, we expect Mr. Obama to relax, entertain, travel, vacation, and celebrate.

Regardless if he wins re-election or not, we do not anticipate President Obama working for the country. If he wins, he will just party! If he loses, he will entertain and enjoy the last two months of his presidency. Either way, he will ignore his official duty to lead the country.

So, will Obama win? We predict he will Lose Big Time!

Our reasoning is based on the turnout at his recent campaign events. Mr. Obama tried to lure crowds to his campaign events by entertaining them with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Stevie Wonder. However, compared to the large number of people who attended Romney and Ryan campaign speeches, Obama's turnout was much smaller.

This signals a problem for Mr. Obama because "he should be the star", not a backup performer.  If he had the respect of the nation, our citizens would flock to see him speak regardless of their political affiliation. However, even his base of support failed to go out of their way to see "Our President Speak".

Romney Campaign Crowd
Whereas, Mitt Romney drew 30,000 people in Pennsylvania hoping to get a glimpse of a man who can fix our economy, restore respect for America, and is willing work with both Democratic and Republican Congressmen and Senators.

For this reason, we predict a Romney Victory in today's election!

The following is a summary of President Obama's official schedule during the week of Wednesday October 31 through Tuesday November 6, 2012.

Today, Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2012
  • President Obama will spend the day in Chicago waiting for the election results. He will pass the time playing basketball and will sit for more than a dozen radio and television interviews. Obama leaves voters with a Hurricane Sandy Photo OP and message: I'll give you money but not protect you!

Responding to the Hurricane Sandy emergency, President Obama flew back to the White House and participated in phone calls with governors and meetings coordinating Federal emergency teams.

One week before the election, Obama is using this disaster as a photo opportunity to show his involvement. Unfortunately, he had no such meetings, participation, or press conferences when the 4 brave Americans were killed in Benghazi.

Prior to taking advantage of this disaster, Mr. Obama was flying across the country, giving a speech here, voting there, taping interviews, etc.  He did attend two daily briefings but that was it. Comparatively, he attended 7 campaign events, and taped 4 interviews for TV and Radio appearances.

Interestingly, the President flew to Orlando Florida on Sunday night and returned on Monday morning. But, nothing is documented as to why he was there.

Also during this time, Vice President Biden attended 5 campaign events. The First Lady, Michelle Obama, attended at least 5 campaign events. Although she wasn't listed on the White House or Political schedule, we can follow her schedule by reading her speeches posted on the White House website.

Yes, 17 fundraisers but only 2 daily briefings. (Thank god there was a hurricane!)

Horses, Bayonets, and Debates define Obama's Image

Charging at his debating opponent at a full gallop, President Obama thrust his bayonet into Romney's military remarks. At first, it appeared his presidential foe was critically injured, but as the dust from the horse's hoofs faded away, the mighty Romney arose unscathed.

While Mr. Obama's biting "horse and bayonet" remarks flooded the internet, many a soldier were quick to point out that the bayonet is standard issue for the fighting infantry soldier today. Although the comment sounded so great, it illustrated the President's lack of knowledge of a soldiers arms. Had our Commander in Chief spent more time with our brave fighting military soldiers, he would not have been so quick to say the the bayonet is a thing of the past.

In fact, a mounted bayonet is an integral part of a fallen warriors Battle Cross memorial. The inverted rifle with the bayonet attached "signals a time of prayer, a break in the action to pay tribute to our friend".

During this past week, President Obama dedicated his time to fundraising, campaigning, and preparing for the last of 3 debates. Only once did he receive a presidential briefing. Other than that, he performed no leadership function.

Together with his wife Michelle, and Vice President Biden, the trio attended 24 campaign events. Mr. Obama attended 7, Mr. Biden 9, and Mrs. Obama 8. Will Obama crack under the pressure at the debate tonight?

It has to be tough for President Obama. With the economy at a sluggish standstill, high unemployment, the national debt over $16 trillion, the Benghazi coverup, poor debate performances, and the presidential election only weeks away, President Obama must be under sever stress.

During the past few weeks, his primary focus has been solely on his re-election bid. But ignoring his elected duties as President of the United States places him in a precarious situation because he is wide open to dereliction of duty criticism.

For example, during the past week, he has received 3 daily briefings. Additionally, he met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The remainder of the time he was either campaigning or preparing for tonight's debate.

While Mr. Obama only attended 2 campaign fundraising events and treated winners of his campaign recent campaign contest to dinner, he has been holed up since Saturday preparing for the debate. But instead of remaining focused on this, he managed to sneak away to visit a campaign office on Sunday. Unfortunately, this is the same type of behavior that he exhibited prior to the first debate when he visited the Hoover Dam.

So, the pressure is on President Obama to perform tonight. But the question is: Will the stress of the pointed criticism that he might receive cause him to forget his talking points and lose his composure?

He must perform tonight, and he knows it. Otherwise, he will most certainly lose the election and be forced to leave the White House, forgoing all the perks, travel, and parties that go with it. The social stakes are high!

Below is a summary of the President Obama's activities during the week of Wednesday October 10 through Tuesday October 16 2012.

Four dead Americans are only bumps on the campaign trail

Two weeks after the Benghazi massacre, the only visible change to President Obama's weekly campaign schedule is the inclusion of 4 daily briefings.  Yet, in the past 7 days, the Obama campaign team attended 14 different campaign/fundraising events. However, the President was obligated to meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton once in order to make sure that they continue to apologize to the Muslim world and pretend that a the murders of our citizens were carried out in response to an offensive video.

Obama's and Clinton's behavior are indicative to children trying to appease a schoolyard bully.

Besides apologizing and campaigning, Mr. Obama relaxed in the friendly environment of The View. He did speak at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, but could not find the time to meet with other dignitaries.

The economy is still in shambles and unemployment continues to soar. Yet the President has ignored these issues.

Mr. Obama described the deaths of our Ambassador and security personnel as merely bumps on the road. And, he brushed off the concerns of Israel as only noise, an unwanted distraction.

One must ask: Why would any right minded American re-elect this politician who has boldly ignored his sworn obligation to serve and protect this country but has favored the revolting terrorists in the North African and Arab regions instead?

Below is a summary of President Obama's schedule during the week of Wednesday September 19 through Tuesday September 25 2012.

Even the murder of 4 Americans cannot stop President Obama's fundraising events

Why should Americans work if the President refuses to work either?

After we published last week's post, America learned of the violence in the Middle East. Four Americans, including 1 Ambassador, was killed in Libya. The Egyptian Embassy was overrun and the American Flag torn down and burned. More violence and marches took place in the days to follow, and anti-American sentiment was expressed across North Africa, England, Australia, and more.

Yet through it all, our honorable President Obama, Vice President, and First Lady pressed ahead the Obama re-election bid by attending campaign fundraisers in Colorado, Ohio, District of Columbia, Iowa, Virginia, and New York City. Together, they attended 16 separate events. Mr. Obama led the team with 8 fundraisers, Mr. Biden with 5, and Mrs. Obama with 3.

However, because much attention was placed on the White House during this week, Mr. Obama managed to attend 3 daily briefings. Assuming each lasted approximately 30 minutes, the President dedicated 1 1/2 hours of the week to national security.  To help ignore the Mid East violence, Mr. Obama and team blamed the uprisings on the trailer of a film. Yes, the film was responsible for the death of our fellow Americans, not the failure to secure our soil in foreign lands and protect those who are representing us. Note however, the President failed to meet with any of his senior advisers this week either.

During this time, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was found to have violated the Hatch Act. Under the rules of punishment, the President must decide on her punishment. To date, President Obama has ignored his duty to uphold the law.

In addition to fundraising, President Obama hosted three groups of athletes to the White House this week. Last Friday, he welcomed the 2012 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams, and today he's receiving the WNBA Champions, the Minnesota Lynx.

Because President Obama's schedule was completely full with campaign related events, Mr. Obama declined to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week.

However, he remains completely focused on his re-election, and is therefore appearing on the David Letterman Show this afternoon, and attending 2 gala fundraisers. Most important is that of Jay-Z and Beyonce which will be held at the 40/40 Club. Aside from the guests, a 350 bottle champagne tower will be a primary focal point. This floor to ceiling display of gold bottles will be serving the $800 per bottle bubbly. (The champagne alone will cost $280,000).

And now we know why the Obama's want us to remain in the middle class!

The following is a summary of the President's official schedule during the week of Wednesday September 12 through Tuesday September 18, 2012.

Tuesday, September 18, 2012
  • President Obama receives a daily briefing at 10:15 AM. At 1:10PM, he greets the WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx at the White House. Then, he flies to New York City where he will first sit for an interview with David Letterman. Afterward, he will attend 2 fundraisers, one with Jay-Z and Beyonce.

One DNC Convention and Two Hugs, How Cozy!

After sitting in on 1 obligatory daily briefing, President Obama was free to spend the week campaigning. First, however, he had to practice the acceptance speech that he would give at the Democratic National Convention.  Once that speech was given, the Obama's and Biden's took to the skies on our Air Force planes and hit the swing Sates.  Together, they left Charlotte NC and the four flew to New Hampshire. After attending a campaign event there, they boarded the plane again and flew to Iowa where they made another grand campaign appearance at the University of Iowa.

But, one day was enough. So at the end of Friday, Mr. Obama flew to Florida and spent 2 days attending 4 campaign events in that State. Nothing has been written about Michelle Obama or Jill Biden, so we can only assume that they perhaps flew back to Washington. From different sources, we know that Vice President flew to Columbus Ohio and traveled through that State and mingled with the voters.

Two of the memorial pictures of Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden campaigning over the weekend are shown at right.  From the looks of it, they are really enjoying themselves. After all, who wouldn't want to share hugs with our 2 distinguished leaders?

Obama's work week: One briefing and 2 days of campaigning! (No wonder he wants to be President again)

As August winds down and we approach the 70 day to election mark, the President of the United States, Barack Obama, has officially stopped working for the country! Yes, during the past seven days, Mr. Obama's official schedule was composed of only 1 daily briefing, and was bracketed by two days of campaign travel on Air Force One. During this period, Mr. Obama attended 6 campaign events in 4 different states.

By contrast, his wife, Michelle, attended 3 campaign events in 3 different states. Although they are not listed on the White House Schedule, the White House Speeches and Remarks page contains the text of her speeches.

And, even though everyone thinks that Joe Biden is out of the picture, the Vice President and his wife were the star speakers at 5 more campaign events.

Luckily for the Obama campaign, a hurricane is raging in the Gulf. As this storm of nature presents drama, the Obama campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki used it to divert attention from Obama's lack of work to the importance of "campagning". As she stated:

The president is also out there laying out the stakes for what is a very important election for a generation, there’s almost no group with higher stakes for what happens in November. That’s also important.” (Team Obama on campaigning during Isaac: The Republicans are doing it, too)

So now it's official, there is no higher stakes than winning reelection for the Obama for America campaign.

To heck with the country! We're bashing Romney and blaming Bush and the rest of the Republicans. These are the real contributions of the Obama Administration.

Below is a summary of President Obama's official schedule during the week Wednesday August 22 through Tuesday August 28, 2012.

Today, Tuesday, August 28, 2012

Chains, Felons, Fundraisers, and Denials

Surprise, President Obama had a press conference yesterday! Yes, after being criticized for only meeting with celebrity news outlets, Mr. Obama finally held another press conference at the White House. Unfortunately, he did not seem to be prepared, especially when he said nobody had called Mitt Romney a "felon". Either he really does not stay up with current events, or he believes the country is so ignorant that we will believe anything he says. Either way, it did not seem to go very well for for the President.

Luckily, the day ended on an up note when he and Michelle hosted a "state dinner" for 54 winners of a children's "healthy eating" campaign contest.

As for the country's work, the President received 3 daily briefings, and met with his senior advisers, Mrs. Clinton, and Mr. Geithner once during the week.

He also attended 6 fundraising events, held in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Ohio. Vice President Biden delivered remarks at 3 campaign events as well.

Obama praises Islam after Daily Briefing and attends 13 Campaign Events

President Obama received 1 daily briefing and hosted an Iftar Dinner at the White House. Those were the only 2 official functions performed by Mr. Obama last week.

The rest of the time he was working on his re-election campaign. During these past 7 days, Obama attended 13 campaign fundraising events, in Iowa, Illinois, and Colorado. Additionally, he spend 3 hours in his Chicago campaign headquarters.

During the same period, Vice President Biden attended 2 fundraisers. And, Michelle Obama is credited with 5 campaign events, and appearing on Jay Leno's Tonight Show.

Mr. Obama's message of the week for all Americans was:

"... Islam ... is part of our national story."

This was said at the 2012 Iftar Dinner, where Mr. Obama referred to a Koran  possessed by Thomas Jefferson, and suggested that Jefferson held the first Iftar dinner. However, the importance of these were much different than what the President stated. At that time in 1786, the Barbary states of North Africa were waging a war of priacy and enslavement against shipping through the Strait of Gibraltar. A million Europeans and Americans were captured and sold into slavery. Jefferson and John Adams tried to buy off the pirates. But, this failed because they learned:

"that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise"

Responding with force, the USS Constitution captured Tunisian vessels. To avoid full war, an emissary was sent to to Washington to resolve the conflict. Thus a dinner was held for the delegation. This was the "Iftar Dinner" to which Mr. Obama referred. And, the Koran in Jefferson's possession was used as a reference to understand the nature and thinking of the North African pirates.

So yes, Islam has played a part in our early American history, but it was not through honorable circumstances as Mr. Obama would have us American citizens believe.
